Commodities Engineering provides project management services based on 10 years experience in prince 2 and ITIL methodologies. We would be pleased to apply a standard Project Management package developed and tested for the commodities business to help you achieve your goals.

>  You need to select a vendor with adequate software solution to support your trading, logistic, accounting, risk, reporting activities. We provide management of  Request For Information followed by Request For Proposal processes with your providers. This includes formalizing detailed business requirements and business cases, collecting real and anonymous set of business data, executing and leading proof of concept, collecting, documenting and prioritizing the gaps, developing vendor selection matrix.

> You need to budget and plan the project.  We handle building and leading the approval process for a first sizing of your budget. Based on a defined scope for the project, the initial budget will contain  license, maintenance, HR and hardware costs directly linked to a detailed list of identified deliverables. The project plan will include resource planning, i.e. scheduled workshops to produce and validate those documents taking into account the availability of your teams. A contingency plan will support you in assessing, documenting and mitigating the risks.

> You need to secure provider’s contractual obligations. We manage the contract negoociation process by getting the provider to agree fixed costs and service levels around detailed elements of the contract such as the software coverage, the deliverables, the implementation plan, the maintenance terms, the planning, the provider Service Level Agreements.

 > You need to drive the project on a daily basis. We offer hands-on approach by organizing and leading workshops, project committees and steering committees ;  formalizing and leading approval process for meeting minutes ;  controlling, maintaining and communicating the planning, the risks and the budget ;  raising any issue and suggesting solutions ; leading the project teams by ensuring their commitment to the planning and deliverables.

> You need to ensure a sustainable integration of the new software solution to your current IS environement. We implement, validate and follow-up change management procedures by tracking, qualifying, approving any change requests. We also enhance your teams buy-in as we organize the user acceptance tests and train them.
